I'm a huge fan of Twitter, but if my hubby-to-be pulled that stunt at the altar, there'd be a LOT of back-pedaling to do. No way. Beyond being idiotic, it's flat out disrespectful. Wow.

Totally idiotic. I understand that I was not born in the "digitally native" generation, and that my perspective about this might be different from those who are. However, this begs the question, "Are we living our lives to live our lives or are we living our lives in order to provide commentary on them for others?"

Its both. Its cute, but idiodic. This is a wedding! You know covenant terms being announced to each other, witnessed by people and blessed by God. Facebook can wait until you ATLEAST consummate the thing right?

To quote the old cartoons "Ain't nothing sacred no more?!" We've lost respect for the sacred and placed everything on the same plane. What's next, tweeting communion? "The little cross on these wafers make it easy to fold them & put it in my mouth easier."

This scene is like the girls who don't wear coats while wearing skirts and high heels trying to get into the club - cute, but dumb.
